Matt is a true character, he's always saying and doing the funniest shit, and it's been awesome living with him for the last year and a half, thanks for all the good times Matt, it's been a pleasure. Thanks for putting up with all my bullshit, you've been a great friend.

Mike Watt
A few months ago I had the pleasure of seeing the legendary bass player Mike Watt, he was in a crazy band in the early/mid 80s called The Minutemen, then Firehose and has played with countless others such as Iggy Pop and the Stooges and has inspired many with his badass lead approach to an instrument you normally don't hear. It was cool to see this guy play with only about 30 others and he played like there were 10,000 of us out there, pure passion. He has been touring nonstop for almost 30 years and still does it in a shitty old Econo van, no tour busses, no crazy labels. Keepin it real. Keepin it punk.
